Heroes in the community don’t always wear capes
Some heroes wear white coats or scrubs. Others wear jeans and boots. The one in boots and jeans is Josh Taylor—founder and owner of Texas Roofing & Construction—who has helped families, households, and communities across the country.
Josh began his career in construction after graduating from McKinney High School in 2003. He later became a licensed catastrophe insurance adjuster for a private company that worked directly with State Farm—a role that kept him on the road for months at a time, traveling the country to inspect property damage after natural and man-made disasters.
Eventually, Josh wanted to be off the road and home with his family, so in 2016 he founded TRC. He combined his hands-on construction experience with everything he’d learned as an adjuster—having seen roofing contractors both good and bad across the USA—and built a company in a trade that doesn’t always have the best reputation.
TRC was created, and continues to operate every day, with a simple mission: to be a company you can trust. That means taking great care of customers—never taking upfront money on projects—and delivering quality products and superb customer service on every single job.
